Why is temperature increasing day by day on Earth?

The increase in temperature on Earth is called global warming, which is caused by human activity and the subsequent release of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. This is the main reason for temperature increase:

Greenhouse Effect: Certain gases in Earth's atmosphere, such as carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), and nitrous oxide (N2O), act as "insulators" that trap heat from the sun and prevent it from escaping. This hole is called the greenhouse effect. Human activities, especially the burning of fossil fuels such as coal, oil and gas, have increased the concentration of these gases in the atmosphere. As a result, more heat is trapped, leading to an increase in temperature.

Deforestation: Forests play an important role in temperature regulation by absorbing CO2 and releasing oxygen through photosynthesis. However, widespread deforestation, primarily for agricultural expansion, urbanization and deforestation, is reducing the Earth's ability to absorb CO2. This leads to higher levels of CO2 in the atmosphere, increasing their greenhouse effect and contributing to global warming.

Production and Use of Fossil Fuels: The industrial revolution and subsequent manufacturing processes led to the burning of fossil fuels for energy, transportation and manufacturing. This releases large amounts of CO2 into the atmosphere, increasing their greenhouse effect.

Agriculture: Agriculture is another contributor to global warming. Activities such as animal production, rice cultivation and use of synthetic fertilizers cause methane and nitrous oxide emissions respectively. Both these gases have a stronger warming effect than CO2.

Urbanization and Land Use Change: Urban expansion and changes in land use patterns lead to destruction of vegetation and increased solar radiation from urban surfaces such as concrete and concrete. This phenomenon, known as the urban heat island effect, leads to an increase in temperature in urban areas.

It is important to note that natural factors such as volcanic activity and variations in solar radiation can affect global temperature changes. However, the current rapid rate of global warming is due to human activity. The scientific consensus among climatologists is that human-caused global warming is the primary cause of the temperature increase observed over the past century.
